Maplewood RS Newsletter

In tomorrows lesson “Seeking Answers to Spiritual Questions” , Sister Browning states this:

“Asking questions and searching for meaning are a natural and normal part of our mortal experience. At times, not readily having complete answers can bring us to the edge of our understanding, and those limitations can feel frustrating or overwhelming. Wondrously, Heavenly Father’s plan of happiness for all of us is designed to help us progress despite our limitations and accomplish what we cannot accomplish on our own, even without a complete knowledge of all things. God’s plan is merciful toward the limitations of our humanity; provides us with our Savior, Jesus Christ, to be our Good Shepherd; and inspires us to use our agency to choose Him.”

Being inquisitive and having questions are good, BUT I know it can be super frustrating to not have the answers to all our questions right now. That’s why its so great to know that even if we don’t know all things that we have a Heavenly Father who DOES know all things and we can put our faith and trust in him! So keep asking, keep being curious and keep trusting that some day you’ll know.

TEMPLE DAYS

Starting this year we will have two temple days a month! The days and times will change just so we can accommodate everyone’s schedules We hope each of you will be able to join us on one of those days. If it’s a sealing or initiatory day then we ask you to reserve that time for yourself. If you don’t know how to reserve a time then please call Sis. Cash at 505-803-0820 and she will walk you through how to do it. If it’s an endowment day then you can just go without reserving because they rarely fill up. We hope to see you there!!

  • EQ/RS Nov 14 Thursday, @ 7 pm Sealings (appt for up to 18 people: 10 people at 6:45 checkin, 8 people at 7:15 checkin)

  • EQ/RS Dec 10 Tuesday @ 7pm Initiatory (Make your own appt)

  • Stake Primary Christmas Service Project Friday Nov 22 4-5 pm Come and Go. For all Primary Children! It will be in the parking lot of the stake center. See flyer below.

  • Mark your calendars for MAPLEWOOD CHRISTMAS PARTY! December 7th @6pm at the stake center. More Info to come.

  • Christmas Musical Fireside December 12 at Joe and Panda Jobe’s home. Adults only. Mingling at 6:30, program starts at 7
